3-D Shape Fun
We have been working hard on learning all about 3-D shapes and how they compare to 2-D shapes. In this lesson we played a game of Headbands. The students all had headbands on. The headbands all had different shapes on them. The students had to walk around and describe the attributes of the shape on someone else's head. Then we all went to our teams and received new headbands. At this point the team members had to take turns going around the table and giving clues to one member of the team so they could guess which shape they were. The kiddos had a blast trying to figure it out. Then we moved on to using our knowledge of the attributes of shapes to construct our own 3-D shapes from toothpicks and marshmallows. Here are a few photos of our fun!
