Force and Motion Fun!

We have begun our Super fun unit on force and Motion.  Here are a few pics of the introductory lessons.
The kiddos worked together to find pushes and pulls in magazines, cut them out, and sort them into a giant Venn Diagram.

I just LOVE these Giant Venns.  I use them in so many different ways.  Just trace the bottom of a large trash can onto bulletin board paper twice and voila giant Venn Diagram.

These two were having a very spirited conversation on whether a purse would be a push or a pull.  They final decided on both.  Because, "When you open the purse to get out your keys you are pulling it but when you get home from work and you are tired you just toss it down on the table and that would be a push"………Gotta love that!!! HA!

This lesson and MANY more on in my Force And Motion Unit.  It has over 2 weeks of detailed lesson plans and experiments.  You can get it here for $5.

Here is a fun magnet lesson.  The kiddos build their Rudolph and then try to get him through Santa's village to his sleigh using magnetic rods.

They work with their partner to hold the village that they created and then have to use the rod under the paper to make Rudolph move.

This lesson (and over a weeks worth of other Holiday lessons and experiments) is also available in my store for $4.  Just click here!

Or you can save and purchase both in the bundled set for only $7.

May the FORCE be with you!
